3. Sharing A Sitter: Another option is sharing a babysitter with a friend. You can have the babysitter watch the kids at the same time, and split the cost or use the sitter on alternate days. Make sure that you have a written agreement on how the babysitter is used, and what you will be paying to avoid any unforeseen complications.
4. Swapping: You can swap products or services with a friend or someone in your neighborhood in exchange for their childcare services. Such an arrangement will keep you from having to pay out of pocket.
5. Childcare: One thing that you need to realize before you even get started is that although you work at home, business is business. As such, you must treat your business with the same amount of respect as you would a traditional office job. The proper childcare center will reward both parent and child. As a work at home parent, you will be able to focus on your new career. On the other hand, your child will be able to attain social skills from interacting with other children in the same age category. You will have to do your research to determine which childcare facility is best for you and your child. Nonetheless, you will be pleased with your additional efficiency and concentration.
